Barry was born on September 26, 1963 and has lived in Texas, Florida, Louisiana, Denver, NY, and Washington DC. The majority of time has been in Texas – about 20 years.
Barry’s hobbies growing up included playing the trumpet including doing two national tours in drum & bugle corps and playing a ton of basketball (despite his height). Barry started college at age 16 skipping his senior year at high school. Although starting pre-med, Barry switched majors after enjoying a computer science programming elective. Barry moved from software engineering to management (project and business). Although always close to technology, Barry found his true niche and enjoyment is managing and leading people. He has a natural knack - being told by many people over the years that he has been the best manager they ever worked for. Barry has a wife of 23 years, initially meeting in college. He has 2 daughters in high school. And he has a Butler (the name of his dog). Barry loves to travel abroad. His plans when the kids graduate college is to travel the world with his wife carrying only backpacks and having no set agenda. Barry’s current hobbies include windsurfing and playing poker (Texas Hold ‘Em of course). They may be less physically exhilarating than basketball, but just as fun. |
