Diana Hoogland
Born in Wichita, Kansas and raised as an Army Brat, I had the opportunity to live in Germany, Colorado Springs, and Fort Hood, Texas. After living in Texas for the past 37 years, I can definitely call myself a Texan! I graduated from Copperas Cove High School and attended Central Texas College and McClennan Community College in Waco where I studied Marketing and Business.

In 1982, I began my career in the Banking Industry. I spent many years in many roles, starting as a teller and eventually moving into a Commercial Loan Officer role. I left the banking industry in 1991 after one of my customers begged me to join his company in a sales role. I had never thought of my self as a salesperson, so it was very different at first. However, because I love working with people and helping people, this role became ideal for me. I have never thought about doing anything else since.

My technology sales career began in 1993 when I moved to Dallas and became the first employee of an early adopting group of guys who started ObjectSpace, Inc. Over my seven years there, I ended up leading a team in selling Educational Services, as well as Consulting Services. ObjectSpace Educational Services was sold to Valtech Technologies in 1999 and I was part of the group who went over to start this new venture. In the role of VP of Sales, I was responsible for all sales of Educational Services in North America. I am now a part of Improving Enterprises, where I work with the best talent in Dallas. We are definitely a fun, extremely talented, inspirational and passionate group of people who love our company and what we do for our customers.

When I am not at Improving, my life is filled with four children, a husband, and our dog Kelsey. My two oldest sons are grown and out of the house, helping me further learn through experience what to do and what not to do with my two little ones! In my spare time, which is few and far between, I enjoy spending time with my family and entertaining friends. My favorite things to do are reading with my kids, going to the park or somewhere outdoors with my kids, attending their soccer games and dance lessons. And, of course, quiet dinners with my husband are imperative. I am also a Girl Scout Co-Leader for my daughter’s troop. I also sell F.A.I.T.H Jewelry in my spare time.
